Kite surfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: 20 knots Surf / Sea State: small waves Air Temperature: cold Sea Temperature: not too bad Weather: SUNNY! Max Speed: Distance Covered:
After 5 days of near constant rain, the first day of the year dawned with
wall to wall sunshine - and a stiff Westerly.
Managed to keep the celebrations of the previous evening to a reasonable
level, so joined 5 others for a first sail of the New Year.
Absolutely top session!! Bright, clear conditions, smooth wind, bleedin'
cold - but hey you can't have everything!
Bit overpowered on the 12m at first, but had a cracking afternoon popping
off waves and just generally enjoying the conditions. Lets hope this is a
portent of what is to come this year.
Probably a 4 star day, but after so much miserable weather - the sunshine
was worth an extra one :)
